BricsCAD challenges the status quo with their AI transformation

Bricsys has won the Singapore Technology Excellence Award for Software - Technology.

The tech company, Bricsys, clinched the Software - Technology award for Singapore at the Asian Technology Excellence Awards 2021 for its fast-growing core-product Computer-Aided Design (CAD) software BricsCAD.

BricsCAD, which originated from Belgium in 2002, had fully reinforced product innovation and created great customer experiences, with the most intuitive UX/UI, tools, and command layout. Its core brand includes intelligent 2D drafting tools and powerful multi-threading to help users design at a higher level of detail, accuracy, and speed.

At the same time, the CAD software provides innovations in combined direct and parametric modelling, point cloud processing and visualisation, to help users generate complex 3D geometry; and advancements in conceptual modelling and drawing generation to support an automatic end-to-end BIM workflow.

Unlike other CAD software, BricsCAD is customer-centric and offers very flexible packages; customers can choose their most business-fit licencing model. Bricsys offers a perpetual licence option, wherein customers would only have to pay once for lifetime usage, costing a lot less than other CAD software usually on a yearly subscription.

Moreover, BricsCAD users will find the software easy and fast by design, with its latest technologies such as AI and machine learning making the work more productive. BricsCAD minimised learning time when switching from legacy CAD products, leveraging the .dwg native file format which creates the highest compatibility with other CAD users across industries.

With the software undergoing continuous improvements, BricsCAD has added over 100 new features and workflows yearly since 2018. In October, BricsCAD® V22 was launched, which raises CAD innovation to the next level.

BricsCAD® V22 dramatically boosts CAD software performance and delivers extensive efficiency improvements. The software features more speed, power, flexibility, and a more modern CAD tool approach.

Having an industry-standard .dwg format supported by intelligent AI features, BricsCAD challenges many incumbent solutions within the AEC market with a strong value proposition, providing unique BIM features and functionality.

These technological innovations pushed Bricsys to the top of the industry, with the company well on its way to building the future of CAD technologies. They have provided a free academic licence to students and schools, and one year of BricsCAD Ultimate, including all BricsCAD features.

“At Bricsys, we believe in people building the future, we want to be a part of creating one for them,” the company said.
