Gur Lavi bags Philippines Technology Excellence Award for Cloud - Telecommunications at Asian Technology Excellence Awards 2022

Telavi Cloud addresses pain points in business continuity, ROI, productivity, and digital transformation.

Telecommunications solutions distributor Gur Lavi Corp. (GLC) has brought home the Philippines Technology Excellence Award for Cloud - Telecommunications at the recently held Asian Technology Excellence Awards 2022 for its unified communications platform Telavi Cloud.

GLC created and launched Telavi Cloud in the middle of the pandemic to address the pain points of the enterprise segment in terms of business continuity, return of investment, productivity and digital transformation. Telavi Cloud is a cloud-based business communication solution that has voice, messaging, call centre module, and video collaboration components.

The solution provides integration of these components with a delightful user experience that helps the organisation increase productivity. It enables real-time communication from the user’s phone system and conferencing solutions, together with messaging and chat, and integrates with everyday business applications.

In terms of security, data protection measures are in place. All information that is transmitted and stored by the system is fully encrypted and secured. In a previous interview, Telavi Cloud president and CEO Erwin Co said users should also do their part to ensure the protection of information.

“Users should have the responsibility of taking care of data they access wherever they may be. Overall, security starts in the normal, day-to-day practices of an individual in taking care of their devices,” Co said.

Since it was launched, GLC has received thousands of leads from different industries through its Facebook page and website. It has been the core product offering of the company since then, and it has evolved into other services that GLC offers depending on the specific needs of the clients, from microbusinesses to large corporations. 

GLC is also going to launch Telavi Meet, Telavi CRM Integrator and Telavi POS Gateway, in partnership with one of the Philippines’ leading telecom companies, PLDT, as part of its offerings this year.
