ARV's Robotics Teams wins two awards at the Asian Technology Excellence Awards 2023

This year, ARV's robotics teams have stood out as true champions of progress, showcasing their prowess by achieving recognition by winning two prestigious awards in the Thailand Technology Excellence Award for Robotics category at the Asian Technology Excellence Awards 2023. These accolades recognise ARV's exceptional contributions to advanced robotics innovations and technology.

Mr Pakpoom Kriengkomol, Robotics Team Lead, and Mr. Ravipas Vongassemjit, Lead Robotics Engineer at ARV, have distinguished themselves as pioneers. Their leadership and expertise have not only elevated ARV but have also inspired the tech industry as a whole by earning recognition in two distinct categories, "Thailand Technology Excellence Award for Robotics - Oil & Gas for the Robotics Solutions for Offshore Operations, Inspections, Maintenance, Repair, Surveillance, and Delivery project" and "Thailand Technology Excellence Award for Robotics - Technology for the Autonomous Drone Solution for Traffic Monitoring and Analysis project" marking the outstanding contributions to the world of robotics and technology.

Mr. Pakpoom Kriengkomol, Robotics Team Lead at ARV, revealed that ARV's robotics team has been awarded the Thailand Technology Excellence Award for Robotics - Technology for the Autonomous Drone Solution for Traffic Monitoring and Analysis project, for being the first to use HORRUS, Thailand's first fully automated drone solution to help manage traffic during the festive season, for which we have a partnership with the Department of Highways.

This cutting-edge system offers real-time vehicle tracking and provides a live stream of traffic image analysis through various channels such as Facebook, YouTube, the Department of Highways website, and JS100. In addition, HORRUS can accurately reach and identify road accident sites, enhancing traffic management efficiency and road safety.

By receiving this accolade from the Asian Technology Excellence Awards, it shows that ARV has developed over the years and is now one of Thailand's leading companies in technology development and venture-building in the fields of artificial intelligence and robotics. It is not just a win for ARV; these awards are a recognition of the company’s remarkable achievements and groundbreaking innovations.

On the other hand, Mr. Ravipas Vongasemjit, Lead Robotics Engineer at ARV, stated, "It is a pleasure for our robotics team to receive the Thailand Technology Excellence Award for Robotics - Oil & Gas in recognition of our groundbreaking project: Technology in the Robotics Solutions for Offshore Operations, Inspections, Maintenance, Repair, Surveillance, and Delivery."
