Landmark Partnership: Ecopark joins Kempinski Hotels and Kengo Kuma to Create Luxurious Blue Zone Retreat

Vietnam: In a historic collaboration between Ecopark, Kempinski Hotels, and the renowned architect Kengo Kuma have entered a partnership that promises to redefine luxury living in the Southeast Asian nation.

The groundbreaking deal will see the establishment of the first Kempinski hotel within the serene environs of the Saigon River, an oasis at the heart of one of Asia’s busiest commercial centres. Kempinski celebrates its 130th anniversary with the launch of the project.

Founded on the fundamentals of the unique Blue Zone living concept, the property will be the pioneer in Vietnam and the sixth of its kind globally. This will place the nation prominently on the sustainability map. The Blue Zone philosophy underscores a commitment to promoting longevity, wellness, and sustainable living, with a mission of fostering a healthy environment for residents.

Spearheading the project, Ecopark, Vietnam’s leading real estate developer, is renowned in the green living space, and by partnering with Kempinski group, is combining its principles of sustainability and eco-consciousness with the hospitality giant’s reputation for luxury.

“As Europe’s oldest hotel company and one of the most respected luxury hospitality brands in the world, we are thrilled to be working with Kempinski to turn this vision into a reality, providing a new interpretation of luxury living for future generations of visitors and residents,” says Trung T. Luong, Vice Chairman of  the owning company.

The choice of location is no coincidence. Ecovillage Saigon River, a picturesque riverside township, will host Kempinski's flagship hotel in Vietnam.

The architectural vision for this project is entrusted to Kengo Kuma, a legendary figure in contemporary architecture known for his innovative approach and sensitivity to natural landscapes. Kuma's design promises to marry luxury with nature.

This partnership represents a bold step towards creating an idyllic retreat where the elegance of design meets the serenity of nature, offering wellness, longevity, and environmental harmony.
